Meet our guides

Our guides bring diverse perspectives to Munich’s streets, united by a love for storytelling, thoughtful tour design, and real connection with the people we meet.

Elettra

Elettra, originally from Italy, has called Munich home since 2008 and it was love at first sight. Often described as the northernmost Italian city, Munich captivates her with its “live and let live” attitude, where tradition and innovation coexist and people from all walks of life come together in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

What she enjoys most is exploring Munich alongside her guests, tracing the city’s journey from its origins to the present day. Her tours are shaped by both deep knowledge and genuine enthusiasm. She is a member of the Munich Tourist Guides Association and the Federal Association of Tourist Guides in Germany, ensuring the highest professional standards. A key focus of her work is leading tours on National Socialism, covering the period from the founding of the German National Socialist Party through to the end of the Second World War. She holds official guiding certification at the Dachau Memorial in Italian and is currently preparing for the final examination for certification in English. In addition, she is a certified guide for some of Bavaria’s most important institutions, including the Deutsches Museum, the Bavarian State Palaces and Gardens, and the White Rose Foundation.

Her path to guiding is as rich as the stories she tells. After studying law in Palermo, she worked for nearly 20 years as a civil lawyer in Italy and Germany. During the pandemic, she made a bold and heartfelt decision to turn her lifelong passions—art, history, literature, and music—into her profession. In 2023, she completed official guide training with the Munich Tourism Office.

Today, she brings Munich to life with insight, empathy, and storytelling flair, weaving together history, art, monuments, and tales that balance legend and truth. Every tour is a personal encounter—an invitation to experience Munich through the eyes of someone who truly knows and loves the city.

A true cosmopolitan at heart, Paola has been living in Munich for over 20 years—and she loves it. Before making Munich her home, she spent several years in Milan, London, and Paris, experiences that shaped her international outlook and deep appreciation for different cultures.

After earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Paola worked for various multinational companies across Europe. Her natural interest in meeting people from different countries and backgrounds, together with her deep enthusiasm for history and culture, led her to hosting—first as a hobby, and eventually as a profession. Today, she is an official guide of the City of Munich.

Paola knows Munich like the back of her hand: its rich history, vibrant culture, and hidden gems that few visitors ever get to see. From charming cafés and local restaurants to world-class museums, she offers an authentic insider’s perspective. She also explores Munich’s darker WWII history, whose headquarters were once located precisely in this district.

With a strong focus on history and cultures, Paola brings the city to life through engaging stories and carefully curated routes. Whether you are visiting alone or in a small group, you are guaranteed a memorable experience!
